We are looking for passionate, driven volunteers to join our team in an unpaid trainee capacity. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced media environment, build a strong professional portfolio, and contribute to a growing news agency.
All our trainee positions are for a period of 3 months. Based on your performance, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Letter of Recommendation (LOR), providing you with a valuable credential for your future career.
Volunteer Reporter (Trainee)
Responsibilities:
Research and write compelling articles on startup news and trends.
Conduct interviews with founders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
Stay up-to-date with the latest news in the startup world.
Collaborate with the editorial team to pitch and develop story ideas.
Volunteer Marketing Trainee
Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and scheduling content for our social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram).
Help manage our content calendar and track campaign performance.
Identify and engage with key influencers and industry leaders.
Contribute creative ideas for promotional campaigns and audience growth.
Volunteer Sales Trainee
Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and partners.
Assist in creating sales pitches and presentations.
Communicate with potential clients to introduce our services.
Support the sales team in managing client data and tracking leads.
